How is photovoltaic glass produced?

Many people have a certain understanding of the production process of crystalline silicon modules, but they are unfamiliar with the production process of photovoltaic power generation glass with beautiful color and customizable pattern, shape and light transmittance.

3.2mm thick glass is used before and after the photovoltaic power generation glass, and cadmium telluride power generation film is used between the two glasses, which is encapsulated by PVB glass interlayer film with the characteristics of transparency, heat resistance, cold resistance, moisture resistance and high mechanical strength.

The glass used for photovoltaic power generation is not ordinary glass, but ITO conductive glass.

The principle of ITO conductive glass is that it can have conductive properties by plating a layer of conductive film on the surface of the glass. In addition, the ultra white glass used in photovoltaic power generation glass has the advantages of lower self explosion rate, high visible light transmittance, good permeability and so on.

Through the multi-channel vacuum coating process on the production line, the cadmium telluride power generation film with a thickness of only 20 microns is plated on the conductive glass, and then the power generation film is cut into more than 100 slender small batteries through the laser cutting process, and finally integrated into a large battery.

Finally, the rear glass is used for packaging, and the lead wiring treatment and junction box installation are completed. A finished cadmium telluride power generation glass that can generate electricity is completed.
